She is still a spunky little girl, but her cautiousness has grown a lot this year. In some ways I can appreciate that, but we've also seen the struggle of trying to get her to branch out and try new things, and not be scared.
Claire's best friend is Hannah. These two are joined at the hip when you get them together. It was so fun watching them get to play together for a whole weekend on our church retreat. I hope their sweet friendship lasts a long time!
We may have a future ballerina on our hands. Claire recently watched an 'Angelina Ballerina' movie an now she will not stop dancing! She walks around talking about 'going on point' and I will often find her prancing around saying 'jete' 'releve'. We may have to sign her up for ballet lessons in the fall!
Claire is a girly, girl and I love it! Her current obsession is "twirly dresses"or basically anything with a tutu attached. She currently has two dresses and a couple tutu skirts that we rotate through. Heaven forbid I suggest something not twirly. On the days I do get her into something other than a twirly dress you can be she has accessorized it with jewelry or her new plastic heels. She loves to get into mommy's 'chapsticks' (aka lipstick) drawer and pick out which color she wants to wear.
