18 Months!

I would say that these past few months flew by, but I'll be honest; a lot of the time it felt like they were going slowly! Hunter is such a joy, but he is so different from Claire and what we've been used to! It's keeping us on our toes and we are constantly learning new ways to parent, which can make us feel exhausted some days. No matter how long the day, all I want to do at the end of it is curl up with my little guy and kiss those chubby cheeks!

Height: 35.75" (above the 99th percentile)
Weight: 30 lb 6.4oz (99th percentile)

-Our little man is a climber! If I turn around for a second, he is on the table, or the back of the couch, or half way up the stairs. If he is determined, he will make it happen, and with surprising speed :)

-Hunter loves to play chase with Daddy and Claire! He runs around laughing hysterically and colliding into things.

-Speaking of colliding into things; Hunter is crazy clumsy. It never seems to bother him too much, as he is usually back up and running right away, but it's not uncommon to see him trip over air, or run into a wall because he wasn't looking :)

-Hunter's list of words: mama, dada, sissy, papa, night night, book, ball, vroom (Car noises), please, thank you, done,  knock knock, woof, juice, and milk.

-I have never seen a kid love books the way that Hunter loves books. For the kid who never sits still for more than 2 seconds, he can sit quietly and "read" books to himself, or have someone read books to him forever.

-He loves to help! He is always trying to help unload the dishwasher, and will gladly throw anything away in the trash (sometimes even things he's not supposed to!). His newest favorite chore is feeding the dog, which is highly entertaining to watch!

-He is quite the charmer, and he knows it! He loves to test his abilities at practices with all the cheerleaders. I often look over to find him sitting in someones lap, stealing their snacks or water bottles.

-He can change his mood in a split second. One second he's happy as can be and the next he is fighting mad; I mean throwing himself of the floor, screaming like he's dying mad. Exhibit A:
Someone really loves mommy's coffee, and really hates when it's taken away.
Exhibit B and C:

Hunter you light us our lives and always keep us laughing with your silly expressions and crazy antics. We love you!
