5 Months!

5 months! Time is flying by, and with Christmas chaos taking over this month, it seemed like this last month went especially quick.

Our little guy is weighing in around 16 lbs, which is right around the 50th percentile.

-Wearing 6 month clothes, but just switched to 9 month right towards the end of this month. He also just made the switch from size 2 to size 3 diapers.

-Tucker started to get enough head strength to use his bumbo this month. It's so weird to see him sitting in it like a little man. I think he especially likes being able to sit and watch his siblings.

-Tucker had his first Christmas! I'm sure he had no idea what was going on, but he got lots of attention and snuggles from everyone, so I think he was in heaven.

-We also got the lovely experience of Tucker getting his first real cold from his siblings right before Christmas. Poor little man was all stuffy and had a raspy little voice; thankfully he seems to be on mend now, with just a little bit of a lingering cough.

-He's still our happiest little guy. If he's awake, he's usually smiling or relaxing and being the sweetest little man. We are so lucky to have such an easy going guy.
-Tucker also celebrated his first new years eve! He got to party it up way past his bedtime, and made it until 10:30pm! It was actually nice to have his sleep a little disrupted because it helped reset his terrible sleep cycle he had been on! For most of the month Tucker was usually waking up every 1.5-2 hours starting around 11:45pm; it was awful! Although I will say, our Christmas miracle came when Tucker slept from 1am-7am on Christmas eve.

Christmas 2015

We just wrapped up our third Christmas, and we are now officially done with family christmases! It's been a whirlwind of a month, and I cannot believe how fast Christmas snuck up on me this year. I'm going to blame it on the chaos and sleep deprivation that comes with three kids ;)

We started out at home on Christmas eve, playing in the (very tiny) snow and making a fresh batch of sugar cookies for Santa. Hunter was unable to actually decorate one entire cookie before shoving it in his mouth. I think in total he ended up sneaking probably 6 or more cookies!

Then we did our traditional family movie night. We actually ended up being totally un-christmas like and watched The Incredibles, which the kids loved!
The kids picked out which cookies they wanted to leave for Santa, and even left carrots for his reindeer. It was so sweet to watch Claire carefully decide exactly which cookies she wanted to leave.

Christmas morning we woke up and the kids opened their presents and stockings, and we just got to relax and watch the kids play with their new toys. I think Christmas is even more fun when you get to experience it through your kids' eyes. That night we went over to my parents house and had Christmas dinner with them, and opened our presents to each other and the kids.

The day after Christmas we went to my parents house again, but this time my mom's whole side of the family was there to do our family christmas. My cousin and her sweet baby Brooke were here from Maine and my Aunt and her family surprised my grandparents by coming from Nebraska for Christmas. It was crazy to have us all together for a little while!

We finished up our last Christmas with the Arnold side of the family on Saturday. Tucker still had a cough from a cold he had over Christmas, so him and I hung out at my parents house, so I don't actually have any pictures, but I promise, it did happen!
