Tuck has been letting his feelings show lately, and some of those feelings aren't so great. I feel the terrible two's coming on early with this one. He is fierce in his desire to be just like his siblings, and you better believe if you leave him out, or he doesn't get his way, he will show you his screaming side. It's been tough with cutting molars too; yikes!
He is insistent on wearing his backpack just like his siblings. It can be quite the throw down trying to make him take it off.
On the opposite side of that, if he is in a good mood he is the cutest and silliest little guy you've ever met! He loves to dance, to 'read' books to himself, and eat pretty much anything in sight! I keep waiting for him to become a picky eater like his siblings, and while I'm sure it will happen eventually, he sure has lasted longer than his siblings!
Our poor guy has eczema like you wouldn't believe. It's been an uphill battle, with lots of different approaches in how best to treat and prevent it, but so far nothing is a real winner. He gets his biggest flairs up on his stomach, and then his legs. He doesn't seem to be too bothered by it, but I'm sure it can't be comfortable. We just recently got prescription strength cortisone cream from the doctor; it seems to be helping if we keep on top of it everyday.
In the past few weeks we've notice a few more words here and there that Tucker seems to be mastering. Some are more easily understandable than others, but we have consistently heard "Up, apple, thank you, mama, dada, bubba, sissy, again, cup, and uh-oh". He also signs 'all done', 'more', and 'please'.
He's a bit of a daredevil and climber. I've found him countless times on top of the table or climbing up on a chair to get to something he wants when I turn my back for a split second. He also loves to go fast! He wasn't the biggest fan of playing in the snow, but boy was he happy to be sledding down our very steep driveway. He also conquered numerous inflatable slides at JJ Jump by himself; slides that I felt like I was flying down!
Love you sweet guy!
I can't believe in a few short months we are going to have a 2 year old!
